About ZACCAF
Our story
In Zambia, a lot of investment has been placed on Cancers that affect adults with very little recognition of Childhood Cancer and Life Threatening Blood Disorders.
This has left us with no choice but to get up and fight for the rights to proper health care system for children with Cancer and Life Threatening Blood Disorders through Lobbying the Government institutions for supportive policies on childhood Cancer as a neglected non communicable disease.
We also believe that interaction with other parents who have gone through this experience can be of great value in dealing with the situation. It is with this back ground that The Zambian Childhood Cancer Foundation (ZACCAF) was born on the 14 of June 2012.
